- Exterior - The hotel is a large traditional bavarian building, and very imposing.
- General - 0201UV
- Lobby - The large lobby has a light tiled floor. The reception area itself is decorated in dark wood and the ceiling is also wood panelled.
- Location - The hotel is located in a fantastically idylic spot directly on the water's edge of lake Eibsee, a ten minute drive outside Garmisch. Opposite the hotel is the cable car station for the Zugspitze.
- Restaurant - The hotel's well known gourmet restaurant is situated in the basement. It has a vaulted ceiling and is also furnished in bavarian style.
- Rooms - The rooms are large and comfortable, decorated in pale colours, with many traditional bavarian touches. Many overlook the lake and command fabulous views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains. Both the rooms and their bathrooms are in very good condition.
