Hotel Reports
- Exterior - The outside of the hotel is very attractive with its sloping roof and wooden balconies lined with flower boxes.
- General - The hotel also has a lovely terrace overlooking the lake. 0201UV
- Lobby - The traditionally styled lobby and reception area, though small, create a very cosy and friendly ambience with open fireplaces and a variety of hunting trophies on the walls.
- Location - This hotel is located approximately 4 kilometres outside of Fussen, in the small village of Hopfen. The hotel, although opened in the 1970s, has been built on the shores of the lake in a mountain chalet style. A small road runs past it at the front, but otherwise the hotel is directly on the waterfront.
- Restaurant - There are two restaurants, one serving light snacks and the other serving international dishes in very rustic and Bavarian surroundings.
- Rooms - The medium sized chalet style bedrooms are well equipped and comfortable providing a warm atmosphere, many enjoying uninterrupted views of the lack and snow-capped mountains beyond. The rooms in the upper floor are small and have sloping roofs. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in very good condition.
