Hotel Reports
- Exterior - The building is typical of many sheraton hotels, a modern glass fronted structure with a large paved forecourt and there is a connecting corridor to the congress centre.
- General - Fair info for Essen - the underground station "saalbau" is right outside the hotel and the line "u11" only takes 10 minutes to the fair ground. For duesseldorf - take any tram from "saalbau" station to the main train station of Essen (1 stop) and change there to any train to duesseldorf main train station. Change again to the underground line "u78" to fair ground
- Lobby - The large lobby feature a long reception desk and a large seating area along the window front.
- Location - Beautifully located at the edge of the city Park this hotel is ideally situated for all of essen's amenities, whether it is the museum, railway station or the exhibition centre, all are only a short distance away.
- Restaurant - The "restaurant on the Park, where international and German cuisine is on offer, overlooks the beautiful city gardens and in summer there is some seating outside available. 12 aug 98
- Rooms - The bedrooms are of medium size with plenty of light. They are well decorated with high quality furniture.
