- Exterior - This building is very modern, grey stone, steel and glass and looks unusual in the historic surroundings.
- General -
- Lobby - The lobby is medium in size and is full of modern architectural influences with bold colours and unusual shapes. The adjoining lobby bar Continues the theme and is a definite feature in this boldly designed hotel.
- Location - The Sorat hotel is in a peaceful location in the oldest part of the old town, very central. The bridge is outside the hotel and the main station is just 10 mins on foot.
- Restaurant - The breakfast room is decorated in a natural light colour scheme. The resturant is elegantly funished with Art deco style chairs and walls painted in a pale yellow. The hotel bar is decorated in a red colour scheme featuring different colour lamps above the bar. 11/08/98
- Rooms - The rooms are kept in exceptional condition and are all individually furnished and decorated to a good standard in a modern stlye. Natural colours and materials have been used.
