- Exterior - It is a modern building, but in traditional style, with a red tiled roof, and a clean white facade.
- General -
- Lobby - The small lobby is modern, with a pale colourscheme, and a terracotta tiled floor.
- Location - The kastanienhof hotel is located in a peaceful village just outside munich called erding. The hotel is directly opposite the railway station whence there is a regualr fast train connection to munich central station.
- Restaurant - The restaurant is simply decorated in neutral style. When munich is fully booked, or guests would prefer the peace and quiet of what is almost a semi rural location compared with the hussle-bussle of downtown munich, this attractive hotel in erding is an excellent choice. 11/08/98
- Rooms - The medium sized rooms have modern furniture, and a pale cream colourscheme. The decor is simple but attractive and both the rooms and the bathrooms are in very good condition. The rooms on the top floor of the hotel have characterful sloping ceilings.
