- Location - The hotel Residenz is located on a peaceful side street in the residential suburb of Laubegast, about 6km from the city centre of Dresden. A nearby tram station offers quick, easy access to the town centre.
- Restaurant - The restaurant "trattoria" is located on the lower ground floor, but is nonetheless pleasantly light with half length windows along one side. The furniture and general decor is modern and of high quality, with a pale colourscheme. The hotel also offers bicycles and canoes for guests to hire.
- Rooms - The rooms are medium sized and in exceptional condition. Their pale colourscheme, large windows and light wood furniture make them pleasantly light and airy, and due to the location of the hotel they are also very quiet. The small bathrooms are also in exceptional condition.
