Hotel Reports
- Exterior - Typical post war German urban architecture. It is an unassuming corner building with a plain cream and brown facade. The building resembles more a bar than a hotel, but is clearly marked 'hotel'.
- General - A family-run hotel; the atmosphere is very relaxed. This hotel is not really suited to large groups because of the small lobby. Is more suited to individuals who accept a hotel a short way from the city centre or perhaps prefer a traditional family run hotel. (0800 DM)
- Lobby - Small and is to the right of the staircase which leads up towards the breakfast room and the bedrooms.
- Location - East side of the river Rhine opposite Cologne Deutz train station. Here it enjoys excellent access to the fair site but is somewhat further from the historic centre of Cologne which can be reached easily by taxi and public transport but is about a fifteen minute walk. For the fair ground the hotel is perhaps the best located hotel in the city as guests can walk there in under five minutes.

- Rooms - Bright and comfortable for a hotel in this category. Almost all the twins have separate beds.
