- Exterior - A renovated historic building with a new wing built onto it. It is extremely imposing with a well cultivated court yard and impressive drive.

- Lobby - A good size with a wooden reception desk, arched doorways and comfortable seating areas. The area is large and airy with much natural light provided by the large windows giving onto the courtyard. Bars and restaurants are accessible from this, the focal point for all public areas.
- Location - About 20 minutes' walk from the heart of the historic city of Bamberg. And the the major sights including the town hall and the cathedral along with the pedestrian precinct.
- Restaurant - One of the restaurants is elegantly decorated with dark wood furniture and an open fire place. The second restaurant is less formal and furnished in wintergarden style with out-door sceneries painted onto the walls. The piano bar has a high ceiling and is elegantly decorated with polished dark wood furniture. The hotel also has a garden cafe.
- Rooms - The rooms are divided into two sorts historic and executive. All roomsare decorated and furnished to a very high standard. They are a good size and very tasteful indeed.
