- Exterior - It is an imposing, attractive, traditional building.
- General - Since the completion of a total renovation programme, this hotel has become one of the best in Lyon. The location is its main drawback, although it is very convenient for train travellers. There are 2 entrances to the hotel. The first is situated on the "Cours de Verdun" and brings you onto the lower ground floor. The other entrance is facing the train station and brings you on to the ground floor. SL0201
- Lobby - The lobby is medium and very elegant, having kept its turn of the century style and atmosphere. There is a very chic, yet cosy, small piano bar.
- Location - This hotel is located just opposite the Perrache train/underground station, about 1 kilometre from the heart of town.
- Restaurant - There is a most beautiful restaurant set in a succession of magnificently ornate, wood-panelled dining rooms with wooden floors.
- Rooms - The bedrooms are either large, being those traditionally decorated, or of medium size, being those of contemporary style. All are furnished with good taste and are very comfortable and functional. They are in good condition
