- Exterior - The Du Golf is an outstanding, norman-style building standing within its own grounds. It is surrounded by its own Golf course, garden terrace and secluded outdoor pool.
- General - An excellent 30s' hotel with very good leisure facilities set in an extremely quiet and relaxing environment. 01 jun 98
- Lobby - The lobby is massive and palacial. The hotel has several lounges and a most comfortable bar.
- Location - Located about 2 miles from the centre of town and the train station and amid the countryside.
- Restaurant - The restaurant room is formal, atmospheric and serves good gastronomic cuisine.
- Rooms - The rooms are very large and all overlook the countryside. They all have good facilities and some have been luxuriously appointed. All are in very good condition.
