Hotel Reports
- Exterior - A modern building set amongst shops and office buildings. A small enterance is the only indication it is actually a hotel
- General - A clean, if a little basic, friendly economical hotel in a very convenient postion. 12 jul 99
- Lobby - Small reception area but plenty of seats available just off reception in the bar and restaurant area.
- Location - The hotel Pietari Kylliainen is located at the top end of the high street of Savonlinna within walking distance of the castle and opera site.
- Restaurant - The restaurant and bar are in traditional Finnish style with dark wood and floral petterns. The food is typical and basic but economical prices. Both the bar and restaurant are very popular with locals at lunch and evening times.
- Rooms - Rooms are very basic, from small to medium in size, but offer comfortable and very clean overnight accomodation. Light colours. The bathrooms are fully equipped but small. Overall old feeling and in need of renovation.
