- Exterior - Low-rise cream-coloured stone building in a modern style. A versitile hotel with many wings and 2 buildings connected by underground passage.
- General - A quality hotel with a long history. 10 sep 99
- Lobby - This area is of medium size and is decorated in pine wood and warm brown colours. There is a seating area next to the hotel's gift shop.
- Location - The hotel Rantasipi Pohjanhovi is found in the centre of Rovaniemi on the banks of river ounaskoski.
- Restaurant - The main dining area has a traditional feel and is located on the ground floor. It is a large, dimly-lit room with modern furnishings and a great view to the river. Finnish dance music with live bands.
- Rooms - The rooms are of medium size, wooden floors, and decorated in pastel tones mainly of yellow, orange, green and light wood. Both they and the bathrooms are in good condition . Some bathtubs.
