- Exterior - The hotel is a very modern white building with the same modern design used throughout.
- General - The brochure shows no internal public area/bedroom pictures or details but presumably the style follows other modern sokos properties in northern Finland. It has an excellent position from which to discover an interesting and attractive city. This hotel has not been seen and therefore the report is based on the brochure. 06 march 1998

- Location - The Sokos Vaakuna has an excellent location in the heart of Pori, near the market place. It is a short walk to all the town's attractions and the very attractive waterfront.
