Hotel Reports
- Exterior - It is quite a striking building, its white walls contrasting with bright red canopies covering every window.
- General - This is a highly modern and very well equipped hotel in an excellent location and even has a golf simulator to assess distance and swing, in the basement. Roof top floor hosts great sauna department with a jacuzzi showing view of city. 12 jul 99
- Lobby - The reception area is meidium and bright, small summer terrace.
- Location - The Sokos Vaakuna is located in the centre of Mikkeli, within walking distance of all the towns shopping and attractions. Backside windows to forests and the river.
- Restaurant - Behind the lobby lies the restaurant which follows an increasingly popular Finnish trend of a courtyard design. Artium and glass open roof.
- Rooms - All inner rooms overlook the courtyard area and are very freshly decorated with baskets of flowers and brigh floral designs on the bedclothes, furnishings and curtains. Very good condition and large in size. Bathrooms are white with tan walls, also good condition. Complete renovation in 95.
