- Exterior - A very large modern light brown concrete building.
- General - This hotel has not been seen therefore the descriptions have been taken from the brochure. 06 march 1998
- Lobby - No pictures of the interior in brochure but the size of the hotel suggests the lobby would be medium to large in siaze.
- Location - The Sokos Ascot is located in the centre of Lahti, in the heart of Finlands beautiful lake district. Lahti is renowned as a centre for both summer and winter recreation and all of the activities are within easy reach.
- Restaurant - The bar and dining areas appear to be decorated in traditional style with an arched stone fireplace. The restaurants are European, Italian style cafe catalina and a bar and nightclub. General: good standard hotel with a wide range of facilities.
- Rooms - Rooms are average in size decorated mostly in brown and beige.
