- Exterior - It is a building steeped in history, with the stunning art nouveau castle nestled next to the new congress hotel.

- Location - The Imatra valtionhotelli castle is located by the river in the centre of Imatra in picturesque surroundings.
- Restaurant - Situated on the ground floor, it is a large room with simple and unremarkable furnishings.
- Rooms - The castle bosts each room as being completely individual and each id decorated to a high level of traditional style and comfort and is keptin good condition. Although the rooms are different, they are all medium sized on average. Bathrooms are kept in good condition.
