Hotel Reports
- Exterior - The hotel is part of a large modern building, also hosting a department store, one of the biggest in Finland. It is a typical 'Helsinki style' building - built for the Helsinki Olympics in 1952 - with a traditional facade.
- General - This is a high standard hotel in an ideal location with direct access to the department store from the lobby. Generally recognized as the most centrally located property. (01/01 BL)
- Lobby - The large semi-circular reception area is decorated in art-deco style. There is a large seating area and a large wooden reception desk.
- Location - The hotel is situated in the heart of Helsinki, opposite the railway station and close to Helsinki's main attractions and airport bus stop.
- Restaurant - The main restaurant, the 10th floor brasserie/dining/nightclub is on the top floor and serves breakfast, international food and has beautiful views over Helsinki. The restaurant on the ground floor, is an American style diner.
- Rooms - The rooms are medium in size. They are in good condition. The use of pine wood and light colouring give them a warm atmosphere. The bathrooms are also in good condition.
