- Exterior - Traditional Georgian town house.
- General - This is a very friendly informalhotel ideally situated for guests wishing to be Close to the city centre. Donna taylor - august 1998
- Lobby - Small. Decorated in pastel colours as has the rest of the hotel.
- Location - Is located close to the city walls and is half and mile from the railway Station.
- Restaurant - Micklegate;classical and intimate style. It is quite small in size.The copper bar is an attractive, informal area where guests can relax for the evening or have an aperitif before their meal.
- Rooms - All vary in Shape and size. Most are of a medium size and are in a good condition.All have full facilities. And en suite Bathrooms.
