- Exterior - Completed in June 2002 the hotel is a very modern structure.
- General - An excellent hotel in York with a location that is hard to beat.(11/02 RG)
- Lobby - The lobby is modern with contemporary decor.
- Location - Situated within the city walls within easy walking reach of all the major tourist attractions, the hotel has an ideal location.
- Restaurant - There is no restaurant, but a continental buffet breakfast can be taken in a spacious and well-presented breakfast area with adjacent cafe bar.
- Rooms - All bedrooms are of a modern design with stripped wood flooring, variable lighting, TV with news and satellite channels, tea/coffe making facilities, desk area and modem points. The bathrooms have glass and steel fittings and walk-in power showers.
