- Exterior - This is a half timber-framed and honey-stoned building built in the 15th century as a rural retreat for the Abbot of Pershore.
- General - This is a very charming property offering luxurious accommodation in beautiful surroundings. (02/01 MJ)
- Lobby - The lobby is small in size, beautifully decorated in a traditional style with an adjacent lounge area with a large open fire and comfortable sofas.
- Location - The hotel overlooks the village green next to ancient domed yew trees.
- Restaurant - The restaurant is traditional in style and serves English and international cuisine.
- Rooms - All rooms are medium in size and in very good condition. They all combine country house style with modern designer fabrics. The bathrooms are medium in size and in very good condition.
