- General - This hotel is situated in the village of Copthorne which is 10 minutes from the airport. The hotel is in 40-acres of Parkland and is designed in the style of a latin Country House. There is a courtesy coach every 30 minutes to the airport. It is very traditional in style with a very large wooded floor reception which is decorated with flowers and is on two levels. The rooms are all of a good size, with garden views and are traditional in decor. Facilities include trouser press and hair-dryers. The 'Wellingtonia' restaurant offers a traditional elegance and upmarket feel with a separate entrance from the hotel. An a la carte menu is available and is served in the original drawing room of the stately home. There is also an informal restaurant serving a la carte and table d'hote menus as well as carvery 02march 1993.
