- Exterior - Originally a Georgian Country House, this large building is very impressive.
- General - Leisure facilites are superb at the hotel. There is a health and beauty Spa offering a range of facilities including a pool, solarium, massage, steam room, body treatments, aromatherapy, fitness centre and hair dressing. August 1998
- Lobby - Inside the hotel is very elegant. The lobby area has a large sweeping stair case, and elegant paintings and antiques. There is also a drawing room with fine antique furnishings, where traditional northumbrian afternoon tea is served in front of a roaring log fire.
- Location - Linden Hall hotel is set in 450 acres of splendid Park and woodland in the heart of northumberland, 20 minutes drive from newcastle upon tyne.
- Restaurant - The elegantly decorated restaurant offers a delightful menu using local produce. It also offers panormaic views of the northumberland coastline. There is also a pub - the linden which was the converted granary.
- Rooms - The 50 rooms are furnished individually with soft elegant fabrics and have all modern ameneties. There are also a number of four poster rooms and suites.
