- Exterior - This is a modern hotel with grey brick facade and a large car park at the rear.
- General - Guests can use the fitness centre, opposite the hotel at no extra charge. August 1998
- Lobby - The hotel lobby is medium in size and modern in design with a long reception desk and sofas and tables in a seating area.
- Location - This hotel is situated in the city centre and is just a 5 minute walk from Newcastle central station. Newcastle airport is only 8 miles away and local attractions include Eldon Square shopping centre, the Theatre Royal and the quayside.
- Restaurant - The rooftop restaurant has panoramic views of the city and is renowned for its excellent food. A variety of dishes are on offer from the a la carte menus. A dinner dance is held most saturday nights, complete with live band.
- Rooms - All rooms have a private bathroom, satellite tv, radio, direct dial telephone, tea and coffee making facilities, trouser press and hairdryer. The rooms are medium in size and in very good condition with light wooden furnishings and colourful matching fabrics.
