- Location - The hotel is situated in the heart of the city centre, 5 minutes walk from the central station and 200 yards from the Eldon Square shopping centre. It is a distance of 8 miles to Newcastle International airport.
- Restaurant - The rooftop restaurant offers panoramic views over the city. It is large and elegant. A dinner dance is held most saturday nights, complete with live band. There is also a cocktail lounge serving light snacks.
- Rooms - All bedrooms are standardised, medium in size and comfortable.
