- Exterior - This is a traditional hotel with an extension on the front that is the entrance. There is also a large car Park.
- General - The hotel also has conference rooms and facilities. This is a good hotel and is suitable for any client, group or fit. Malcolm august 1998
- Lobby - The hotel lobby is medium in size with a reception desk and a seatong area with sofas and armchairs.
- Location - This hotel is situated close to the a1 and is just 2 miles from the city of newcastle. Nearby attractions include the metro centre and hadrian's wall.
- Restaurant - Hobsons restaurant serves classic English cuisine in a light and airy room. Part of the room is a conservatory and is a particularly nice area to dine in. Springers bar also offers light meals.
- Rooms - All 60 rooms have ensuite Bathroom, remote control tv, trouser press, direct dial telephone and tea and coffee making facilities. Room service is also available as well as baby sitting. The rooms are medium in size and in good condition with modern decor.
