- Exterior - The building dates back to 1862 but has undergone a complete restoration.
- General -
- Lobby - The lobby is medium in size with wood panelled walls and marble floor. There is also a "Grand lounge". This is a large room with a bar and ample seating area. It is very much traditional in decor but the colours are rather sombre.
- Location - The Holiday Inn is peacefully located at the end of a private drive two minutes walk from the city centre.
- Restaurant -
- Rooms - The rooms vary in Shape and size but are generally large. Again the decor is rather sombre. Restaurant; the restaurant is a pleasant room traditional in style. August 1998
