- Exterior - Dating from the early seventeenth century,the timber framed facade of the hotel is stunning. It has been described as 'the most Handsome inn in the world' by the new york times.
- General - A beautiful and characterful hotel. Very English. Suitable for fits or smaller groups.(0201/DT)
- Lobby - The lobby is small, quaint and full of character with low beams and antique furniture.
- Location - Situated right in the centre of the medieaval market town of Ludlow, the hotel is a Landmark in its own right.
- Restaurant - The housman restaurant is very highly regarded and during the summer months the Courtyard garden is opened for eating in the open air.
- Rooms - The rooms are in very good condition and are traditional in decor as befits a hotel of this nature. There are four four poster bedrooms and five luxury suites.
