- General - There is a large bar area. August 1998
- Lobby - The lobby is small with marble floors a large reception desk and chandeliers.
- Location - The Rockingham Forest hotel is adjacent to rockingham Castle (built by william the conqueror over 900 years ago), in a rural setting.
- Restaurant - The restaurant is informal with light wicker chairs, large windows and sweeping drapes.
- Rooms - The 70 rooms are small and kept in fair condition along with the Bathrooms. Rooms have full facilities and are basically furnished and decorated.
