- Exterior - The hotel is a Georgian building comprising of 5 floors.
- General - The hotel aslo has private Parking, baby listening service, disco, indoor pool, sauna and solarium, facilities for up to 250. - not visited, report from brochure - august 1998
- Lobby - The lobby is large with seating, patterned carpet and wood panelled reception area.
- Location - The St Nicholas hotel is situated on St Nicholas cliff, seconds from the Beach and the town centre. Access to Scarborough by rail or road is fast and easy.
- Restaurant - The hotel has the 'terrace' restaurant and there are tea rooms where guests can take morning coffee/afternoon tea.
- Rooms - The hotel has 150 rooms, the majority have en-suite Bathroom, all have colour tv, radio, in-house video, direct-dial telephone, trouser press, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
