- Exterior - The hotel is resplendent with all the opulence of its Victorian past.
- General - Leisure facilities are also one of the hotel's main features, and they include a games room, a solarium and an in-house hairdressing salon. The hotel also caters for conferences. (0400/0700ka)

- Location - The hotel is in a magnificent position on the south cliff, just above the Spa conference centre and is within easy walking distance of the town centre. The views are superb, looking out across the south bay to the Castle headland.
- Restaurant - The restaurant serves traditional English food, fish is a speciality.
- Rooms - In the bedrooms the fine Victorian furnishings continue throughout. The Crown has 78 bedrooms, the majority of which have been recently refurbished to a very high standard. Each room has its own Bathroom and is equipped with colour television, radio, direct dial telephone and tea and coffee making facilities.
