Hotel Reports
- Exterior - Originally built in 1740 as a coaching inn and maintained its reputation of excellent hospitality and attentive service. The hotel is very cosy.
- General - Donna taylor august 1998.
- Lobby - The lobby area is small and very elegantly decorated. The public areas have elegant sofas and cosy log fires.There are also ornate ceilings marbled pillars, palms and extensive wood panelling.
- Location - The hotel is situted in the centre of Harrogate situated next to the Royal pump room, which was popular with gentry in the 19th century.
- Restaurant - The ripley restaurant serves fine cuisine both seasonal and fixed menus. On weekend evenings and sunday lunchtimes dinners are served.
- Rooms - The bedrooms are very elegantly furnished with very traditional fabrics. All rooms have full facilities, they are medium in size and decorated to a good condition.
