- Exterior - The hotel has been tastefully converted from a 19th century listed building. It opened in 2001.
- General - One of the finest hotels in the north west, the Marriott South is ideal for the airport and is 6 miles from the city centre. (ML 09/01)
- Lobby - The lobby is modern and very smart.
- Location - Located at Liverpool Airport as part of the Speke Aerodrome compex, the hotel was formerly part of the airport buildings.
- Restaurant - The hotel has an express coffee bar as well as a restaurant serving contemporary international cuisine.
- Rooms - The rooms feature data ports, cable/satellite TV, minibar, air conditioning, iron and ironing board. They are all of an excellent standard as befits a brand new hotel of this calibre.
