Exterior - The hotel's facade is ultra-modern in glass and steel. There is a pedestrian area at the entrance to the hotel complex at the base of the stunning Trinity Bridge which links the hotel to Deansgate.
General - This is the most luxurious hotel in Manchester. It has an excellent location and communication links. The health spa has 6 treatment rooms and separate relaxation areas offering the latest treatments. There is also a gym and sauna. (ML 05/01 )
Lobby - The lobby is large, spacious and has an airy atrium with a high ceiling. A staircase leads from the lobby to the mezzanine and restaurant floor.
Location - The hotel is part of the new Chapel Wharf Development on the banks of the River Irwell in the city centre. The hotel is located just off Deansgate, Manchester's principal shopping street, soon to boast branches of Selfridges and Harvey Nichols.
Restaurant - The hotel's restaurant is Marco Pierre White's first venture outside of London. It has views over the River Irwell and offers a suprisingly good value menu, especially for Sunday lunch.
Rooms - The rooms are the ultimate in 5-star luxury with all the technological additions you would expect of a hotel of this standard. The decor is contemporary and minimalist with neutral colours and a chaisse longue in each room.
