- Location - The hotel is situated near Manchester airport, within two miles of the airport terminals and railway link. It is nine miles from the city centre and ten miles from the m6 motorway.
- Restaurant - There are two restaurants in the hotel; lowrys which serves traditional roasts and local specialities, the portico restaurant featuring modern mediterranean style cuisine and the Riverside lounge, offering light snacks and cocktails. There is music on a nightly basis in the bar.
- Rooms - The rooms are medium in size, have en-suite Bathroom, full facilities and are in good condition.
