• Exterior - The hotel has been converted from a terrace of Victorian townhouses, typical in this area of the city, and the entrance is covered by a small porch supported by neo-classical columns.
• General - This is an excellent choice for thoese looking for a contempary style hotel in a central location, offering very good value for money. (MJ 03/01)
• Lobby - The lobby is medium in contemporary style with a mahogany reception desk. The marble floors and cream walls are very bright, giving the lobby a fresh atmosphere. Casual seating is available for guests.
• Location - The hotel is located in the Bayswater area north of Hyde Park and within walking distance of Kensington Gardens. Paddington and Lancaster Gate are the nearest stations with easy access to central London and mainline connections to other parts of Britain.
• Restaurant - The large breakfast room is bright and airy. Some casual seating is also available for guests to relax. There is a small garden adjacent which may be used in the summer months.
• Rooms - The rooms are small and face the front of the building, some in duplex style. The furniture, in keeping with the general style of the hotel is very contempary and stylish. There are several Japanese touches in the bedrooms, including modern prints. The colour schemes vary but most are decorated in fashionable cream and gold. Bathrooms are small but in very good condition.
