- Exterior - The hotel is a Georgian townhouse, encompassing five houses.
- General - The Academy is a comfortable, homely Hotel in the heart of London. (0798/0600DM)
- Lobby - The small lobby has a very homely atmosphere with comfortable sofas situated opposite the reception desk.
- Location - The hotel is located in Bloomsbury within a few minutes walk of the British Museum, Theatreland, Oxford Street and all of London's West End attractions. Several tube stations and buses are also within walking distance.
- Restaurant - The restaurant serving award-winning cuisine and the bar are located on the lower ground floor. They are both bright, modern and also in very good condition. The hotel boasts a small very comfortable library lounge with fireplace, this area opens onto the patio garden, a peaceful oasis in the heart of London.
- Rooms - The bedrooms are decorated in a bright yet traditional style and vary in size due to the traditional building. The marble bathrooms are small, however both areas are in very good condition. All rooms include colour television, direct-dial telephone, tea/coffee making facilities and hair dryer.
