- Exterior - This is a very modern building.
- General - The hotel provides conference facilities. - not visited, report from brochure -(0201/DT)
- Lobby - The lobby of the hotel is quite large and informal, with lots of seating and chairs.
- Location - The forte poshouse hotel is situated in the centre of Lincoln, opposite the cathedral. It is also within easy reach of the Castle, ellis' Mill and usher gallery. It's grounds contain a section of roman wall and other remains of roman eastgate.
- Restaurant - The hotel has a Spacious restaurant and bar and lounge.
- Rooms - The 70 bedrooms are all very similar and are fairly basic but comfortable. All rooms have a minibar, hairdryer and trouser press.
