- Exterior - It is red brick. The building was originally built as a small family estate.
- General - The elegant lounge has an open fire and carved oak fireplace, In addition there are two bars and a terrace which overlooks the sweeping lawns, water garden and fountains. The htoel also has a heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, solarium and fully equipped fitness room. Report taken from brochure 0300DST
- Lobby - The lobby is medium in size and is very traditional, The ceiling is very high with a bright, glass atrium.
- Location - This hotel is situated in five acres of parkland close to the town of Grimsby and the village of Laceby.
- Restaurant - The Garden Restaurant is very traditional in design and is famous for its selection of vintage ports, cognacs and wines.
- Rooms - The rooms are all traditional in design and differ in shape and size.Some have four poster beds and several of the executive rooms have a whirlpool spa bath. The bathrooms are all in good condition.
