- Exterior - An elegant Victorian hotel which has been restored to it's former Grandeur. The hotel is the focal point of Leicester social life.
- General - There are conference facilities available for up to 450 people. (11/02 RG)
- Lobby - The lobby is large and Grand with tall cream pillars and chandeliers.
- Location - The Grand is a 4 star property is situated in the city centre and is part of the 'Jarvis' group of hotels.
- Restaurant - The hotel has an elegant carving room restaurant and there are three themed bars. There is also a coffee lounge where Danish pastries and cream teas are served.
- Rooms - The hotel's rooms have private Bathroom and are adequately sized retaining a certain character and all the ammenities expected in a four star hotel.
