- Exterior - This is an impressive red brick, purpose-built, 19th century building.
- General - This is one of Blackpool's best loved hotels. (02/01 MJ)
- Lobby - The lobby is medium in size with high embossed ceilings, sparkling chandeliers and attractive furniture.
- Location - The hotel is located on the quieter part of the seafront but still within very easy reach of the attractions for which Blackpool is so famous.
- Restaurant - The bistro offers a wide choice of traditional dishes and an extensive wine list.
- Rooms - All rooms are medium in size and in good condition. They are tastefully decorated in a traditional style. Many rooms enjoy views over the Irish Sea. The bathrooms are medium in size and in good condition.
