- Location - The Tollgate hotel is conveniently situated within minutes of the M25/dartford tunnel on the a2/m2 Dover road. It is the ideal stopover for travellers to and from the channel ports or gatwick airport. It is two miles from Gravesend station.
- Restaurant - The Tollgate brasserie offers a very comprehensive menu with imaginative dishes at reasonable prices. Hotel unseen / report from brochure august 1998
- Rooms - The rooms which are small are simply decorated with basic furniture and appear to be in good condition.
