- General - The cocktail bar is very pleasant and ther eis also a comfortable lounge bar. April 1998
- Lobby - The lobby is quite large and is currently being refurbished.
- Location - This hotel is situated just north of the town centre.
- Restaurant - The restaurant is traditional in design and provides French and English dishes and is very elegant.
- Rooms - There are 90 bedrooms all of which are being refurbished in very modern, warm colours and tartan and patterned fabrics.
