- Exterior - A modern, red-brick low storey building with ample Parking.
- General - The hotel has recently been totally refurbished and is a good alternative to Birmingham or as a base to explore the attractions of the midlands. Hotel unseen / report from brochure malcolm lindop april 1998
- Lobby - The lobby is medium-sized, bright and Spacious with black and white marble decor.
- Location - The garth hotel is situated on the outskirts of stafford, 10 minutes from the town centre and 1minute drive from junction 13 of the m6, as such it is within easy reach of Birmingham and the nec.
- Restaurant - The hotel has a brand new waltons carvery restaurant. In addition, the pantry, within the garth lounge bar, offers bar food.
- Rooms - All rooms are medium in size. The decor is basic, but pleasant.
