- Exterior - It is a modern hotel built in a colonial style.
- General - The hotel has its own leisure club with swimming pool, spa, sauna and exercise equipment. August 1998
- Lobby - The lobby is medium in size and of a modern style.
- Location - The hotel is set in wooded grounds adjoining Marwell zoological Park. It is only fifteen minutes from the historical town of Winchester and twenty minutes from Southampton.
- Restaurant - The restaurant is an attractive, bright room with a high celing with light coloured wooden beams. The menu offers both traditional and International food.
- Rooms - The bedrooms, all with en-suite bathroom are large and pleasantly decorated with the colonial influence again apparent with the cane bedroom furniture.
