- Exterior - A modern architectual building with both a stone and glass exterior with balconies, providing views over Southampton water and historic Southampton.
- General - The hotel boasts impressive leisure club facilities as well as ample car Parking. August 1998
- Lobby - The lobby is large and spacious with a seating area and chandeliers.
- Location - The hotel overlooks Southampton Harbour, standing alongside the medieval town hall. It is easily accessible via the M3 and M27 motorways, and is 5 minutes from Southamptons rail station and 15 minutes from the airport.
- Restaurant - There are 3 restaurants including the a la carte restaurant in polished groute and natural timber, and brewsters which provides a more informal environment.
- Rooms - Rooms vary in size but are generally medium and are kept in good condition along with the bathrooms. Rooms are tastefully decorated and all have en suite facilties and full facilities. Some rooms have air conditioning and balconies.
