Hotel Reports
- Exterior - In 1751 was extensively rebuilt and a fine Georgian frontage was added, which has remained part of the landscape of Southampton high street ever since. William IV and Adelaide, his Queen bestowed their coat of arms on the hotel which was a popular place to rest for the night in the Elizabethan era. The hotel remained fashionable during the 19th century and was host to such celebrities as Queen Victoria, Jane Austen and Thackeray.

- Lobby - The lobby is small with an open log fire.
- Location - Is situated in the heart of the city centre in one of the main shopping streets. It is a few minutes walk from Southampton railway station.
- Restaurant - The restaurant is an informal dining area, with large windows surrounded by heavy navy curtains, open log fires and a large ornate mirror over the mantlepiece.
- Rooms - The rooms are medium in size and are of fair decor. All have full facilities and are en suite.
