- General - The hotel also benefits from an indoor swimming pool, gymnasium and sauna.Claire Forster. July 1996
- Lobby - The hotel is modern in design with a medium sized lobby which was refurbished in 1989. The area is carpeted with mirrored pillars.
- Location - The hotel is a superior property. It is situated in its own grounds, partly covered from view by trees, but close to the beach. It is 10 minutes walk from the centre of Portsmouth and the main shopping area and railway station. It is located in Pembroke Park near the harbour and Southsea Common.
- Restaurant - The two restaurants are suitable for all clients, one serving exclusive up-market menus, with the other serving a carvery and an a la carte menu.
- Rooms - All 163 rooms are modern, offering all the facilities one would expect from a hotel of this standard.
