- General - This hotel is situated at the heart of the new forest. It is a magnificent Country House surrounded by miles of natural forest with deer and ponies. The hotel is owned by richard branson. From the outside the hotel is a very elegantmanor house. Inside the decor is in keeping with the ambience of the place and is very traditional. The public areas are very Grand and there is one restaurnt- the armada. The hotel has an indoor and outdoor pool, tennis, croquet, table tennis and pool. Thre is also a sauna, sunbed, whirlpool and gymnasium. 31st october 1994
