Hotel Reports
- Exterior - Dating from 1620 the hotel has very traditional, inn-style facade and elegant Georgian and tudor aspects.
- General - A good alternative to Cambridge and also excellent for Stansted airport, the saracens head is very traditionally English inn. Malcolm lindop october 1998
- Lobby - Small, cosy and very traditional.
- Location - The hotel is located in the middle of north Essex, only 08 miles from Stansted airport and close to the m11 for connections to Cambridge. The hotel is in the centre of the village opposite the old market place.
- Restaurant - The restaurant has plenty of olde worlde charm and is warm and cosy.
- Rooms - The rooms vary in size, but most are medium and traditionally decorated with floral patterning. All are in good condition. The hotel also has three themed suites.
