Hotel Reports
- Exterior - A traditional hotel, tudor in design the hotel still retains many of its original features.
- General - Free car Parking is provided at the rear of the hotel. The hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment. April 1998
- Lobby - The small lobby leads into the lounge with a small seating area with wooden floors and rugs.
- Location - The George hotel is located in the centre of Colchester.
- Restaurant - The 'brasserie' restaurant provides guests with the choice of an International cuisine. Light snacks or full meals are also available throughout the day in the lounge.
- Rooms - The rooms vary in size but are mainly medium and are kept in fair condition along with the Bathrooms. Many rooms retain original oak beams and chandelier lights. All rooms are en-suite with colour tv, radio, telephone and tea/coffee making facilities.
